A 35 week male fetus with bladder extrophy. The bladder can be seen protruding through the defect (arrow). No bladder is identified in the pelvis by either sonography or MRI. Marked oligohydramnios is present.

MRI demonstrated a significant amount of soft tissue outside the pelvis. Testicles are seen within the scrotum, but a well-formed phallus is not seen.
