Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has always had a reputation for being a warm, friendly and caring environment for learning while providing one of the best educational experiences in the world. For that reason, we have often been called ‘Harvard with a Heart’. Having completed a residency program here myself twenty years ago, I can speak from personal experience.
The range of experiences we provide runs the gamut from exciting level 1 trauma and cutting edge surgical experiences to individual mentoring and an effective mock board examination program. We also have an innovative acupuncture training program in-house and in China and complimentary and alternative medicine training for all interested residents.
